About Gail Ward - Photography, Projects and Words
I am a photographer, writer and founder of Responsible Photography, based near Chichester, in the UK. My interests are 'raising awareness of the lives of others', and the world of 'Travel, Leisure and Tourism'. I am fascinated by people and love 'people stories' - always trying as much as possible to take time to form a rapport with everyone I'm trusted to photograph or write about. I really try not to compromise that trust, which I hope is evident in my work, especially when photographing in sensitive situations.
I lived in Anglesey, with views of the beach and beautiful mountains of Snowdonia, since when I have lived and worked in many countries alongside different nationalities and cultures, before ending up on the South Coast of England. Along the way I have learnt so much, both personally and professionally. I've been very lucky.
Please get in touch if you think we can work together or would like to use images from my photography archive. I am always keen to talk through story ideas from the places and topics I specialise in - especially Colombia, Ethiopia, Greece, India, Mongolia, Rwanda, Community Based Tourism, Photography, travel experiences and more....!
